Beautiful Monday

Work
Wonderful Monday, boss is around and there are voices around the office with on-going activities. Got a catchup with a friend this afternoon for lunch, haven't seen this ex-supplier friend for ages...
Time passes kinda fast this morning, hope it will be the same for the later half of the day as well.

Family
Hubby Patrick's birthday is fast approaching, to think I was still doing the countdown for it a couple of months back. I am still wondering what I should get for him, nothing too expensive and fanciful since he will only grumble that I am wasting money unnecessarily again...
Just got a small email correspondences with my friend Jeannie, her big day as a lovely bride is approaching soon, coincidentally her big day happens to be Hubby's birthday which is on 19th October! Hubby's grumbling that he is spending money on red packet for a ten course meal at Traders Hotel eventhough it's his birthday (Haha!).
Let's see, tonight's dinner plan would be simple:
- Fried Long Bean Egg
- Stir-Fry Spinach
With the weekend's heavy dining, it's best to keep weekday's dining simple.
Wow, doing the count now, it seems there are at least four weddings' invitation that I have gotten save for the red packets from now.

New job, new beginning

Work
My favourite day of the week, today would be the countdown to the 3rd week of my new job at Metso. The working environment is great, colleagues are friendly and ever ready to help. It's a small cosy warm family, with the new me joining in to blend in with them. But, come December, we will be making our move into other Metso Groups to blend in with more than 50 over staff there. Well, the bigger the organisation, the more politics there would be. Let's just cross fingers and pray for the best.

Family
Hubby's serving his reservist with the Air Force for 2 weeks, just ended his first week as of today. So he's got some time to spare fetching me to and fro work in the mornings and evenings. The 3 boys have been as usual attending schools, making noises at home and throwing their toys around... Just got to stop myself from biting my nails seeing the mess when I reach home. Bryan's been exceptionally the cheerful one in the family, he's forever pleasing everyone with his smiles and "act cute" ways. Nicholas is getting better, he doesn't get touchy easily and has cut down on his crying episodes. Christopher being the eldest, are being more independant and all big brother to the younger two. From the way things are, it's kinda exact to say that he is getting on very well with Bryan. Just the other day, he being only 5 years of age, can carry Bryan whom is 1 year of age from the back. Guess he has been working on his muscles!! (haha!!)
